Essence (our 18-25s Network at ENC) is for anyone who wants to go deeper with God. Whether you're a Christian, just looking at what you believe in, a student or in full time work, it's a place to explore God, worship of Him as a lifestyle, learn more about His empowering spirit in your life and discover ways to practically live out your faith in Jesus Christ.

Essence involves food, (good place to start), intimate, heart-felt, worship, relevant Bible teaching, God stories, one2one mentor support and prayer ministry amongst others things. As well as the chance to serve and grow your gifts in this setting we place equal emphasis on looking outward to serve and love our friends and community who do not yet know God by doing lots of social action projects. So we have painted a flat for someone, made furniture and bedding for another, we've even made bread and then given it out to people!

We really want you to go deep with God and we offer you a one2one mentor from the wider church or if you are looking for discipleship and accountability you could become part of one of our 4mation Groups.

It's a relaxed atmosphere where we try to have different things happening so that we don't get stuck in the same old weekly routine and we believe this can help us maintain a living and dynamic faith in God.

As well as Essence we would love you to be a part of the wider church family by getting involved in church life, whether its attending and/or serving other networks courses or the gatherings on a Sunday.

We meet at 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings at the X-centre.
