  • Hours: 40 hours per week (Part time considered*)

  • Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)

  • Closing Date: Wednesday 17th July 2024

Role Introduction:

We are looking for a Youth and Students Leader to champion and grow ENC’s work with youth and students. We currently have around 30+ youth and 80+ students who attend different groups across the week , including the Sunday gatherings.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is excited to enable young people and students to grow in discipleship and be envisioned to lead spirit-filled, mission-focused lives, and to develop a team of volunteers to achieve this. The successful applicant will be committed to nurturing the faith of new believers, and to challenge and stretch the faith of all young people and students, enabling them to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to their age groups in the city of Exeter.

We are committed to professional development opportunities and offer benefits including regular training, coaching and mentoring, and support to integrate into the role during the probation period.

Church Profile:

At Exeter Network Church, we love seeing people come to Jesus and be transformed by him.  We are a diverse community of about 300, a Bishop’s Mission Order in the city centre of Exeter.  We are committed to showing Jesus to those outside the church, to living a life empowered by the Holy Spirit, and to telling the story of the Bible.

Over the past 19 years, our church has grown from a church plant to a medium sized church, while planting other churches. It is an exciting time to join our thriving team of staff and volunteers. We are a passionate and engaging team, committed to seeing the church's strap line become a reality; 'on earth as in heaven'. All of us have a desire to take a full and visible part in the life of the church, as good role models for all ages, bringing an energy and collaboration to our activities. We value high participation, joyful celebration and a lively expectation that God is always at work.
